I realize now - after a month - that Arielle didn't move to Mars. She's still close by, and only a six hour drive away. So, I'm pulling it all back together. It's been hard to adjust without her here. The house feels unbalanced, but it's getting better.
Her move to Arizona went smoothly. It was a gradual three day thing. We had lots of fun trekking around Tempe and playing in the hotel pool.
The drive home was quiet. Isabelle called for Arielle several times, and Michelle was the quietest she's ever been.
